pledging financial support to thousands of people who have fled war-torn
Syria for Europe
Millions of people have fled war-torn Syria in recent weeks and sought refuge in Europe, prompting a response from a number of football clubs.
PSG have joined Porto and Real Madrid in pledging financial help, while Uefa has confirmed €1 from every ticket sold for the Champions League and Europa League will go towards easing the troubles.
In a statement published by PSG, president of the charity Secours Populaire Julien Laupretre said: "We have already conducted projects with PSG for many years to help the most vulnerable children in France.
