Manchester City striker Wilfried Bony could be set for a long period on the sidelines after sharing a picture of himself on crutches.

Bony has featured in all three of City's Premier League matches this season but has not started since the 3-0 opening-day defeat of West Brom.

And it appears the Ivory Coast international will not be able to feature for City again for some time after posting a picture of his left leg in a medical boot.
